Please contact on us if you wish to book using an alternative method of payment. In some circumstances we can offer the cost of your holiday spread over a fixed period after the deposit has been paid. There may be the option to spread the payments via PayPal or Klarna upon booking.

You are strongly advised to take out travel insurance upon booking as Immerse Hebrides cannot be held liable for any accident, sickness or unforeseen event causing you to cancel your place.  If insufficient numbers are reached on your selected holiday we reserve the right to cancel. (See below for minimum numbers) For this reason you must take out travel insurance to cover any costs involved in cancelling.

We reserve the right to cancel any holiday we offer if there are insufficient bookings. The minimum number of people required to run our 3 night weekend breaks are 4. The minimum number to run our Outer Hebrides Swim Tours are 8. You will be notified when the minimum number is achieved and the holiday is going ahead.

In the event of Immerse Hebrides cancelling your holiday we will offer you a full refund of the holiday price or another place equal to the value of your original booking on another holiday of your choice with Immerse Hebrides subject to availability. Prices can vary between holidays. We cannot be held financially liable for any travel arrangements you have made before we confirm the holiday as going ahead. Please arrange travel insurance. Immerse Hebrides Ltd cannot be held financially responsible for any cancellation costs incurred in the event of the holiday not going ahead.

You are strongly urged to take out personal travel insurance to cover the cost of your flights or ferry bookings in the event of cancellation as we cannot offer financial protection for travel to the islands.

In the event of governmental travel restrictions due to COVID-19 at the time of your booked holiday and/or forced cancellation of your holiday by us for the same reason, the full price of your holiday will be refunded minus a £50 admin fee. This full refund does not apply to those who are personally affected by COVID-19 or any other illness and medical travel insurance should be taken out to cover this event. Please adhere to Scottish Government COVID-19 advice and guidance for the duration of your holiday.

Please notify us of any medical condition which may affect you during your holiday, such as a heart or lung conditions, diabetes, epilepsy or pregnancy. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are medically fit for open water swimming. You are advised to consult with your general practitioner if you have concerns about cold water swimming. Your information will only be used in an emergency.

A certain level of fitness is required for our holidays as you will be walking over moderate and occasionally rocky terrain.  Also, you will be swimming in the open water with temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius. Please ensure you have the appropriate equipment for walking or appropriate wetsuit if you have not acclimatized sufficiently before your holiday. Wetsuits can also be hired and are sometimes included in the holiday price. Most of our beaches have limited access and sometimes requires walking on uneven paths or steep sand dunes. Supportive, waterproof walking boots are advised.

You are expected to bring appropriate equipment with you for walking and swimming outdoors in the Hebrides but an essential kit list will be provided prior to your holiday. You must be prepared for all types of weather as poor planning can affect the enjoyment and safety of you and other group members. If you fail to bring the recommended equipment it might affect your ability to participate in certain activities. Immerse Hebrides cannot be held liable for any financial compensation if the kit list is not adhered to.

Tow-floats, wetsuits and swim caps will be supplied free of charge on our beginner breaks. If you have your own equipment you are advised to bring this.

Travel to and from the Outer Hebrides is not included in your holiday price. This should be arranged independently. Immerse Hebrides cannot be held financially liable for any cancellations or delays in your independent travel arrangements and you are advised to take out personal travel insurance to cover any delays or cancellations. We will however try and accommodate any delays in your arrival as much as is practically possible without it affecting the whole group. Complimentary local transport is available on arrival to the Outer Hebrides, during your stay and departure.

The weather in the Hebrides can be unpredictable which can lead to last minute alterations to your itinerary. We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary if the inclement weather might affect your safety or enjoyment. In the unlikely event that the weather prevents all outdoor activities we will offer alternative activities such as tourist attraction trips or indoor activities. Living on smaller islands we have the advantage of finding more sheltered areas to walk and swim and it would be unlikely not to find an alternative safer walking and swimming route.
