Terms & Conditions - Boat Tours

BOOKING

All boat tours are pre-booked online here www.immersehebrides.com/tours. We do not have a public walk-in office for bookings. All seats must be pre-booked online.

PAYMENT

Scheduled Boat Tours

We take 100% of the seat price upfront online. Payment is taken online through our booking system. We accept all major credit/debit cards. We cannot accept cash payments nor bank transfers. If you have any issues with payment please contact us on info@immersehebrides.com

Private Charters

We take 50% of the hire price upfront to secure your request. The remaining 50% is due 7 days prior to your boat tour. We will send you a payment request for the deposit and for the balance after you have confirmed the booking with your 50% deposit.

MINIMUM PASSENGER REQUIREMENTS

Before booking you must read the following and confirm you and your whole party meet the minimum passenger requirements:

There is a minimum height restriction of 135cm/4ft 6 inches due to seat height
The maximum weight limit is 135kg
A certain level of mobility is required for access and egress of the vessel
We may experience bumpy conditions at times which may not be suitable for those with back problems or those who are heavily pregnant
Fitness to ride: Passengers must confirm that they are of good health and have no health problems that may be exacerbated by the boat tour
Passengers under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to participate in the activity
Any belongings taken on board the vessel are taken at the risk of the passenger
Passengers must adhere to the safety briefing given before departure and wear the issued safety equipment at all times
Immerse Hebrides reserves the right to refuse any passengers who do not meet any of the above minimum requirements (without refund)

CANCELLATION TERMS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING

CANCELLATIONS BY YOU - Scheduled Boat Tours

Up to 48hrs prior to departure - Free transfers. Seat price refund minus £5 cancellation charge per booking not passenger.

Within 48hrs of departure - 100% of seat price retained by Immerse Hebrides / no transfers permitted

CANCELLATIONS BY YOU - Private Boat Charters

Free cancellation minus £25 admin charge up to 14 days prior to departure. Within 14 days 50% deposit retained by Immerse Hebrides. Within 72hrs 100% retained by Immerse Hebrides. Transfers to another date are considered but not always possible due to boat schedule.

CANCELLATIONS BY US - WEATHER

Occasionally the weather conditions are unsuitable for a boat trip. You will receive a full refund in this instance.

CANCELLATIONS BY US - MINIMUM PASSENGER NUMBERS

On all scheduled tours we require a minimum of 6 passengers to confirm a tour. If the minimum number of passengers has not been met the tour is at risk of cancellation with a full refund to you. If you do not hear from us your tour is confirmed as going ahead. We endeavour to contact all passengers with at least 24hrs notice of a risk of cancellation and your options.
